George Joseph Robichaud Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Joseph Robichaud of Meteghan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbé Robichaud and Lottie Robichaud (Comeau); and his siblings, Irénée, Johnny, Tommy, Léander, Millie, Lina, Rose and Delia.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his daughters, Christine Chandler (Allan) of Meteghan and Kathy MacDonald (Allan) of Meteghan; his sister Leona Melanson; his grandchildren, Kyle, Andrew, Melissa and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Adley; and his close friend Harley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Meteghan Funeral & Cremation Services (8348 Hwy 1, Meteghan Centre, NS B0W2J0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonse Church (6553 Nova Scotia Trunk 1, Mavillette, NS B0W2J0). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Stella Maris Cemetery, Meteghan Centre.
