It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Melanson (Meteghan, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Melanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dugas and May Dugas (Gaudet); her husband Joseph Albert Melanson; her brothers, Leo (Eveline) and Lester (Marguerite); and her son Jerry Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Bessie), Mike (Paulette), Fred (Brenda), Gary (Roxanne), June (Noland), Joan (Bruce) and Jane. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a public graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Church Point.
