It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Melanson of Meteghan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Donald Melanson to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Melanson and Iva Melanson (Comeau); and his siblings, Donalda and Harold. He is survived by: his wife Carol-Ann; his daughter Tricia Shea (Joey); his grandchildren, Mara and Kieran; his siblings, Jamie (Leona), Reg (Margaret) and Donna Coggins (Walter); his godchildren, Sondra Comeau (John Leew), Adam Comeau and Ron Melanson (Dawn Curry Cottreau); and his son-in-law Joey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, arrangements for mass, interment, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
