It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norene Smith of Merigomish, Nova Scotia, born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray White and Gertrude White (MacDonald); and her husband Roy Forbes Smith. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Smith, Corner, Anne-Marie Smith (Carl Davis), Brian Smith (Sarah Schuitema), Maine and Erin Smith; her grandchildren, Simon, Morgan, Ryan, Christopher Roy and Ariel; and her siblings-in-law, Edith Iceton (Terry), Ont, Janet Thompson and Harold Smith (Marion). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations may be made in memory of Norene to Riverview Cemetery, Merigomish.
