He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin Cameron and Mary Catherine "Mamie" MacInnis (MacGillivray); his sisters, Goldie MacLean, Carmel MacDonald, Edna Chisholm, Gussie MacInnis and Wilma Burke; his foster brother Gerry Harpell; his brothers-in-law, Fred Burke, Charlie MacLean, Dougall "Dunkie" MacDonald and Archie Chisholm; and his grandson Anthony Stanko.
He is survived by: his spouse Claire MacInnis (Ryan); his children, Michelle MacInnis, Cathie Swift (Jeff), Susan MacInnis, Ryan MacInnis (Kelli) and Sean MacInnis (Sandy); his grandchildren, Alexandra (Josh), Ronnie (Laura), Kailey (Jay), Logan, Joey, Hannah, Carrington, Maxwell, Christian, Sarah, Colin and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Grace, Colin, Morgan, Harper, Liam and Owen; and his foster brother Jim Harpell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
