He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Boutilier and Ben Boutilier; his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Roy, Jackie and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis (Anita), Scott (Darlene), Carolyn (Stephen), Glen (Frances) and Todd (Terrina); and his grandchildren, Joyce Ann, Paige, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Danny and Seth. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; a brother and sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Research or the Cancer Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
