She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Chester and Genevieve Leona Sweeney (Howell); her husband Myles A. Balsor; her children, Joy Lynn Balsor and Merle Balsor; and her siblings, Eleanor Coleman, Helen Wagstaff, Shirley Clem, Freda MacDonald, Hilda Ruggles, Robert, Ronald and Kenneth Sweeney.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Strong (Richard), Wayne Balsor (late Donna), Black Rock, Gary Balsor (late Ardena) and Cambridge; her grandchildren, Dean, Darren, Dana, Darcee, Mallory, Kala and Chad; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Dakota, Cody, Rowen, Kelsy, Karsen, Ava, Hudson and Myles; and her sister Beatrice Whittier (late Alan).
Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to Black Rock Baptist Church, Diabetes Canada or Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville.
