He is survived by: his parent Lily Bent (Schofield); his wife Ruth; his children, Stephen (Carolyn), Stewart of Hong Kong, Kevin (Paula), Halifax, Dawn (Norman Brooks) and Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Julia, Megan, Alex and Natalie; his siblings-in-law, Donna Bent of Bridgetown, Anna Adams (Allan) of Cape George, Alice Baxter of Addington Forks, Clare Savoie (Johnny) of Dalhousie, NB and George Baxter (Anne); and also Addington Forks.
