Doris Bernice Nixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Bernice Nixon of Margaretsville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hardwick and Sreatha Hardwick (Hudgins); her husband Ralph Nixon; and her siblings, Alberta Hardwick, Jaunita Deseules, Ronald and Robert Hardwick.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa "Terry" Nixon and Mark Nixon (Sue); her sisters, Marguerite Powers, Velma Corbin and Patsy Banks; her sister-in-law Diane Hardwick; and her pet Lucky.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the Bay View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bay View Cemetery, Margaretsville or the Margaretsville & District Fire Hall.
