He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Pirrie and Eliza Pirrie (Parsons); his wife Brenda (Murray); his sons, Andrew (Danielle) and Daniel (Lori); his granddaughters, Sienna, Jocelyne, Alexis, Kayleigh and Lyla; and his brothers, Jock (Cathie) and Dave (Sharron).
