She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Myra and Gladys Minnick (Myra); her stepfather Ronald Minnick; her siblings, Laurie Myra and Nancy; her brothers-in-law, Robert Jefferson and Fraser Hebb; and her father-in-law Herbert Barkhouse.

She is survived by: her husband Merrill Barkhouse; her siblings, Donna Hebb (Jefferson) of Ivy Meadows and William "Bill" Myra (Donna) of Western Shore; her sister-in-law Stella Myra of Western Shore; and her mother-in-law Eva Barkhouse of Western Shore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
