It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reid Avery Selvyn Hiltz of Maitland, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Welsford Hiltz and Eva Hiltz (Aulenback) of Mahone Bay; his son Edward; and his sister Ernestine Swinnamer. He is survived by: his significant other Elva DeBruin; his children, Cameron (Lisa), Pamela Dent and Shelly Caron (Barry) of Sherwood Park, AB; his significant other's sons, Tom and Jim; his sister Laverne Andrews (Christopher); his border collie Shiloh; and his close friends, Harold Cherry, Frank Eisnor and Peter Barry.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Farmville.
