She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Borden; her siblings, Jack Miller, Harry Miller (Bernice), Frank Miller, Lou Miller, Aileen Fahey (Lester), Ora Nolan (Fred), Myrtis Hennigar (Henry), Opal Liutkus (Joe), Ruby Dimock (Harold Faulkner), Bertha Hollingsworth (Ron) and Pauline Keating; and her brother-in-law Ron Lamond.

She is survived by: her daughter Zura Borden (Lloyd MacKenzie); her grandson Robert MacKenzie; her great grandchildren, RJ MacKenzie and Serenity Young; her children, Catherine and Shannon; her family Erma Lamond; her sisters-in-law, Babe Miller and Betty Miller; and also Chantal Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
