She was predeceased by: her parents, Hastings Williams and Jessie Williams; her former husband Ronald Price; her husband Byron Tanner; her siblings, Vinal, Alonzo (Lonnie), Wendell, Maynard, Neil, Bruce, Brian, Merrill, Susanna (June) and Jessie (Jake); and her stepdaughter Jeaneane Tanner.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Outerbridge (John) and Ray Price (Pat); her stepson Linden Tanner (Leah) of Grafton, NS; her sister Linda Simpson of Summerside, PEI; her grandchildren, Christopher, Melodie, Dawn, Skylar, Taylor and Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Soleil, Liam, Benjamin and Porter.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Valda's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
