He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hiltz and Evelyn Hiltz of Martin's River; his wife Barbara; his sisters, Sharon, Margaret, Jean and Diane; and his brothers-in-law, Don Hardy and Ralph McKay.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Green (Clarence Jr.); his grandsons, Morgan (Tiffany) and Devon (Chloe); his son Bobby (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Bruce (Madison), Michael (Megan) of Alberta and Zoe; his daughter Barbara Robarts (Stephen); his grandsons, Matthew, Benjamin and Ethan; and his siblings, Lillian Zinck (Robert), Barbara Conrad (Boyd), Janet Browne (Dale), Roger (Carmen), George (Jackie) and Kelly (Sharon). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
