He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Joseph Keddy and Beatrice May Keddy (Spencer); and his grandparents, Joseph, Elsie Keddy (Turner), Aubrey and Emmeline Spencer (Dakin).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Kevin L. Keddy (Leslie), Allan John Keddy (Annette) and Peter J. Keddy (Carol Sanford); his granddaughters, Alexandra Cambridge (Justin Dumont), Alicia, Dakota and Jessica; and his sister Virginia Young (Eric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
