She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Veinotte and Ruth Veinotte (Milbury); her husband Cedric Lohnes; and her siblings, Florence Barry, Edith Veinotte, Paul and Carl Veinotte.

She is survived by: her children, Derek (Gale), Todd and Michelle Temple (Jimmy); her granddaughters, Emma Barkhouse (Shea), Courtney Flynn (Sam), Kaylee and Lillian Temple; her great grandchildren, Rhea, Kian Barkhouse and Charli Flynn; her brother David Veinotte (Elaine); her sister-in-law Bonnie Duncan; her niece Melinda Barrier (Sis); and her cousin Tommy Lohnes.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mahone Funeral Home (32 Parish St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St John's Lutheran Church (89 Edgewater St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0).
