She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Barkhouse and Estella Barkhouse (Sawler); her husband Moody Barkhouse; her siblings, James, Brice, Herbert, Kathleen and Alice; her daughter Ruby; her grandson Denny; and her sons-in-law, Ralph and Mervin.
She is survived by: her children, Brydon (Muriel), Cornwall, Irene (John) and Ira (Doris); and her grandchildren, Rene (Jackie), Randy (Nancy), Bernice (John), Kyle (Sherry), Tina (Chris), Amanda (Byron), Kim (Brian) and Aaron. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
