We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 60, Lana Ann Smith of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lana Ann Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Melvin and Joan Melvin (Blakeney); her stepmother Pearl Melvin (Ferguson); and her sister-in-law Nancy (Ronnie). She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Melvin of Martin's Point; her grandchildren, Esmae, Landon and Brooklynn; her brothers, Ronnie Melvin of Napan, NB, Thomas Melvin, Paul Melvin (Mary), Gold River and Dean Melvin (Terri Lynn) of Martin's Point; and also Trevor Pye (Darby). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Mahone Bay Nursing Home Recreation Program.
