She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Lillian Smith (Wentzell); her husband Clayton Spidle; her brothers, Walton, Leon and Carroll Smith; her siblings-in-law, Pat Thorne, Julie Smith and Lena Smith; and her daughter-in-law Pauline Spidle.

She is survived by: her son Merlin Spidle; her granddaughters, Sherry Mailman (Anzel), Crystal Spidle (Greg Savory) and Tracie Harlow (Alex); her great grandchildren, Brandon (Jill), Isaiah, Lucah Mailman, Ashton, Kaiden Retieffe, Ryker and Freya Harlow; her great great grandchildren, Everly, Hazelyn and Renley Mailman; her sister Diane Thorne; and her sister-in-law Susie Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
