It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Murphy (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 2, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Murphy and Elizabeth Murphy (Wells); his wife Barbara Veinot; his son William (Billy); and his siblings, Blanche of Elizabeth Picco, Bill, Leo and Fred.
He is survived by: his grandson Jamie of Mahone Bay; his great grandchild Decklyn; his son Patrick; and his stepson Ken of Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater would be appreciated by the family.
