With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Mary MacMillan (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Diane Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Rankin and Noreen Rankin; and her husband Monty. She is survived by: her brother Douglas Rankin; and her stepchildren, Kim (Ron), Jennifer (Surinder), Kier (Celeste) and Ian (Cheryl). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Diane's memory to: Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay or the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
