Anna Catharina Swennen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2024, at the age of 95, Anna Catharina Swennen of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Swennen and Marie Aldegonda Swennen (Vermeulen); her children, Anna and Léopold; and her siblings, Mia, Rosa, Philomena, Helena, Angèle, Michel, Louis, Théo, Jaak and Leon.

She is survived by: her children, Martha (Lucie Dolbec), Jan, Arthur and Charles (Anna); and her grandchildren, Karen, Hélène, Nora and Bertil. She is also survived by brother.

In 2021 (Covid era) she followed her daughter to Nova Scotia and at 92, she purchased her own Town House in a wonderful tight knit community where she made many friends.
