He was predeceased by: his parents, Trueman McCormick and Grace McCormick (Alyward) of Springhill; his daughter Margo Anderson; his son-in-law Peter Edwards; his nephew Kevin Hurley; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Burbine (Earl) and Monica McLellan.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen (McLellan); his children, Dawn, Charlene (Everett Delahunt), Cindy (Steven Cameron), Tracy (Nolan Borden) and Joseph (Lisa Cormier); his son-in-law Barry Anderson; his friend Pattie Burbine; his sisters, Jean (Gary Hurley) of Parrsboro and Elizabeth (Ronnie Best) of Parrsboro; his cousin Ann Rushton of Springhill; and his brothers-in-law, Jack McLellan (Christie Ann) and Sterl McLellan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
