Elsie Bertha Wilson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Bertha Wilson of Maccan, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Price Read and Vera Read (Smith); her former husband Raymond W. J. Smith; her husband Rev. Howard Wilson; her stepdaughter Lynda Weatherbee; and her siblings, Thomas, Layton, Richard, Everett and Ruth Boss.

She is survived by: her children, Heather Scopie (Jim) of River Hebert, NS and Dale Smith (Mary) of Enfield, NS; her stepchildren, Debbie Wilson (Bill) of Dartmouth, NS, Graham (Linda) of Calgary, AB and Wayne Weatherbee of Sydney, NS; and her sisters-in-law, Marion and Myrnetta Read. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
