It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Elizabeth Bower-Veinotte (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Vincent and Marion Selena Bower (Toole); her daughter-in-law Linnea Veinotte; and her siblings, Beverly Bower and Cheryl Corkum.
She is survived by: her children, Dashia Hyson (Trevor), Garden Lots, Chasidy Veinotte, Bethany Veres (Joel) of Martin's River, Matthew Veinotte (Paula) of Halifax, Chansey Veinotte (Chantal) of Ottawa and Shaymus Veinotte (Annie) of Toronto; her son-in-law Ryan Dorey; her grandchildren, Jonah, Bella, Vada, Micah, Lucas, Isaac, Lena, Thomas, Maya and Riley; her siblings, Monica Wentzell (Garden Lots) and Stephen Bower (Marlene); her siblings-in-law, Linda Bower of Saint John, NB and Ronald Corkum; and her aunt Gladys Toole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In honouring Wanda's memory for her love of pets and all animals, those desiring may choose to make memorial donations to Hope for Wildlife, SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or to the SPCA through the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
