Tom Grandy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78, Tom Grandy (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), born in Grand Bank, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Tom may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Grandy (Green) and Leonard Grandy; and his brother Clayton Grandy. He is survived by: his significant other Don Longton; his mother-in-law Joan Modonese; his siblings, Marion Bonnell (Leo) and Carl; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Steven Bonnell, Leonard, Susan Wiseman and Beth Hayley. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of cousins.
