It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Shaw of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Matheson and Ruby Matheson (Fleck); her husband Charles Alfred Shaw; her brothers, Donald, John and Harry; and her son-in-law Charles "Skip" Beckwith.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Shaw MacAdam, Katherine Claire Shaw Beckwith, Blockhouse and Robert Shaw (Anne); her grandchildren, Connor, Bhreagh, Karen and Wendy; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Sadie, Hunter, Aidan, Seth, Benjamin, James and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central United Church, Lunenburg or Harbour View Haven Home for.
