It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Tanner of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Little Tancook, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Levy and Katie Levy (Baker); her husband Ray; and her siblings, Dorothy, Mae, Mabel, Hilda, Melita, Louisa, Raymond, Benjamin, Russell, Jessen and Reginald.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Taylor (Danny), William Tanner, Northwest and Derrick Tanner of Lunenburg; her grandchildren, Craig, Brittany and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Lahna, Letty and Ivy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
