He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hirtle and Cora Hirtle (Lantz); his wife Virginia; and his brothers, Roseville (Sylvia), Walter and Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Snowe (Harold), Diane Williams, Oakhill, James (Pat Gladman), LaHave and Andrew (Charmaine); his son-in-law David Williams; his grandchildren, Janice (Stanley), Jacob (Bailie), Madison, Jenna (Cameron) and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Raven, Adison and Atlas; his niece Marie Hirtle; and his nephew David Hirtle (Krista). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Trinity United Church, Lunenburg County V.O.N. or the Lunenburg County Home Care, would be appreciated by the family.
