He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Sadie Allen (MacDonald); and his siblings, Murray, Albert, Bernard, Ivan and Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his children, Donna Heisler (Robert) of Sherwood Park, AB., Sheila Falkenham of Halifax, Nancy Pittman (Tom) of Lunenburg and Ron Allen (Agnes) of Guelph, ON.; and his grandchildren, Stacey (Laurianne), Tara (Dwayne), Ashley (John), Matthew (Amanda), Amy (Dan), T. J. (Dawn) and Jennifer (Palmer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
