He was predeceased by: his parents, Budd Durling and Ruth Durling (Demone); and his brother Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Durling of Hemford; his children, Wanda Durling and James Durling of Halifax; his grandchild Saide Mosher; and his siblings, Frances Crouse, Betty Jodrey, Marie Jodrey (Lloyd), Newburne and Donald Durling (Linda) of Sydney.
