He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wentzell and Doreen Wentzell (Higdon). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Tanya Knickle (Joel) and Troy Wentzell (Margo); his grandchildren, Jordyn Knickle, Devin Knickle and Peyton Wentzell; and his siblings, Karen Colp and Gilbert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
