He was predeceased by: his parent Nathan Thorne; his son Kelly; his brothers, Nathan Warren, Albert Warren and Kenneth Purdy; and his stepfather Nathan-Warren.
He is survived by: his parent Florence Thorne; his wife Sue of Lunenburg; his children, Tammy Thorne-Fry (David) and Todd Thorne (Katie); his grandchildren, Ryan, James-Kelly, Paige, Jade and Sage; his sisters, Sharon Morrison (Lester) of Lunenburg, River Bezanson of Lunenburg and Joanne Bezanson (Garnett) of Lunenburg; his sister-in-law Linda Warren; and also, Cannan and Blue Rocks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to an education fund for his grand-daughters, Paige, Jade and Sage.
