He was predeceased by: his parents, Murdock Hancock and Selina Hancock; and his brothers, Charles Hancock (Clarissa), Lunenburg Hancock and Robert Hancock (Muriel).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothea "Dot" Margaret Hancock (Shoreham Village); his children, Sandra Knock (Dale) of Lunenburg, Davilyn Knickle (Richard) of Lunenburg, Levi Hancock (Marilyn) of Newfoundland, Donna Moody of Lockeport, Lana Dexter (Vaughn), Sable River and Darren Hancock (Jackie); and his sisters, Maude Savory (Phillip) of Back Centre, Laura Savory of Bridgewater, Janie Fraser (Wayne) and Upper LaHave. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital and QE11/IWK Health Centres.
