She was predeceased by: her parents, Fenton William and Ellen Louise Tanner (Knickle); her husband Gilbert (Gibby); her siblings, Statia "Pat" McDonald and Gordon Tanner; and her son Michael William.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Silver East LaHave (Peter Lamphier), Julie Mule (Sam), Blue Rocks, Donna Hope (Wayne), Fredericton, Diana Silver (Bruce Tanner), Ottawa and Jennifer Silver (Angelo Ciolfitto); her grandchildren, Paul (Elena), Sean (Cristina), David (Teresa), Amanda (Ben), Heidi, Adam (Kristy), Alexis, Joshua, Jacob, Kyle, Maya and Eyva; her great grandchildren, Pablo, Santi, Aiden, Julian, Sophia, Faith, Leia, Matteo, Olivia and Cooper; and her brother Alfred Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or to any other charity.
