It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alan Whicher of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Heather; and his siblings, Anne MacMillan (Kevin) and Ashley (Daphne). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shipwright (80 Montague St, Lunenburg, NS B2W3P3).
