She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Allen and Myrtle Allen (Knickle); her husband George; her stepson George; her brother Murray; her stepmother Violet Knickle; and her stepsiblings, Arthur Allen and Dorothy Allen.
She is survived by: her stepson Robert Black (Shirley); her stepdaughter-in-law Mary Black; her grandchildren, Catherine (Spencer), Shelley Brownson (Barry), Alberta, Stephen Black (Pam), Hammonds Plain and Richard Black; and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Cameron, Emma, Robyn, Samantha, Rachel, Chloe and Meredith.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the Lunenburg Academy Foundation, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or to the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery.
