He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Corkum and Natalie Corkum (Bachman); and his brother-in-law Bill Veenstra. He is survived by: his sister Sandra Veenstra of Chilliwack, BC; his nieces and nephews, Bill (Susan), Daniel (Tammie), Natalie (John) and Margo (George); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Lindsay, Julia, Adella, Chris (Holli), Natalia, Darion, Joshua and Amy; and also Peyton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, The Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice, through the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
