He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Zinck of Rose Bay; and his siblings, Florence, Marion, Grace, Olive, Isabel, Gladys, Irene, Lottie, Emily, Katherine, Lewis, James, Allan, Roy, Grevel, Charles and Theodore.
He is survived by: his sisters, June Briand of Lunenburg and Shirley Wile of Lower LaHave; and his niece Darlene Acker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
