It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Turner of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Mark Tobin; and her son Jamie Almeda. She is survived by: her mother Edith; her husband Bob; her children, Terri Lynn Almeda (Mark Eisner) and Mark Almeda (Janet); and her stepchildren, Robert Turner (Sherry), Dawn Wamboldt (Theodore), Kimberley Hanekom (Justin) and Alison Turner. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the ESTARL (Eastern Star Training Awards for Religious Leadership) or to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Nova Scotia Division.
