It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert Corkum (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Corkum and Frances Corkum (Tanner); and his sibling Hewitt. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Tanner, Jean Richardson, Stanley, Elburne and Morris; his wife Mary Ellen (Walters); and his children, Morris (Christy) and Sherry. He is also survived by three granddaughters, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gibby's memory may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks.
