He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemert Knox and Lorena Knox (Hyson); his wife Janet; and his siblings, Lemert Jr., Franklyn and Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Veinotte (Ted), Tara Knox (Harold Hanhams) and Greg Knox; his grandchildren, Amanda Turchet (Andrew), Zack Veinotte, Jeffrey Knox-Whynacht (Pamela Stone), Braden Newell, Zoe and Lauren; and his siblings, Carolyn Jackson (Brian), Marguerite Jenkins (Loran) and Warren Knox (Marie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul's United Church in Blue Rocks or the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery.
