With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geoffrey William Zinck (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Zinck and Florence Zinck (Goodwin); his wife Doris; his former wife Eleanor (Shaffenburg); his son Richard Knickle; and his brother Ralph.
He is survived by: his children, Teena Foscolos (John), Wanda Joudrey (Scott), Sharon Labrecque (Nick) and David Knickle (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Janine Knickle; his grandchildren, Sophia, Alexander, Michael, Maureen, Tiffany, Aaron, Jillian, Kylie, Jason and Janelle; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Owen, Reid, Jackson and Mason.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
