He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Knickle and Olive Knickle (Tanner). He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Vaughn; his daughter Gail Levy (Anthony); his stepchildren, Carol Vanbrunt (John) of Ontario and Michael Caplan (Stephanie) of Ontario; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Julia and Steve; and his sisters, Julia Tanner of Blue Rocks, Shirley Romkey of Blue Rocks and Ruth Mills. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
