She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerald Lewis and Flora Pyke; her children, Ever, Scott (Nancy) and Gary (Nancy); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrew (Shawna), Cassandra and Barrett (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Adeline, Lachlan, Sophia, Penelope and Peri; her husband Douglas; and her siblings, Vantine, Mildred, Jean, George, Bordon, John, Charles, William and Gerald.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Lunenburg Fire Department or to the Poppy Fund of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 23, Lunenburg.
