She was predeceased by: her parents, Robie Leopold and Marjorie Leopold (Wile); her husband Russell Boehner; and her siblings, Merna Kelley, Harley Leopold and Chesley Leopold.
She is survived by: her children, Esther Ernst-Pike (Rodger) of Farmville, Claudine Ernst Kuenzle (Kuno) of Blockhouse, Victor Ernst and Vance Ernst; her brother Geoffrey Dauphinee; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Gerhardt, Brittany Gerhardt and Matthew Pike. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
