He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Arthur and Gladys Eveline Gerhardt (Mosher). He is survived by: his siblings, Leon and Lucy; his wife Sharon (Clarke); his children, Paula (Peter), Gretchen (Steve), Graham (Sally) and William (Rachel); his grandchildren, Samantha (Thomas), Alexander (Ceilagh), Andrew, Stephen Baker, Paul, Leo, Martin, Thomas, Lucy, James Gerhardt and Mae Parsons; his great grandchild Rowan Baker; and his nephews, Daniel and Peter Stead.

Donations can be made to Trinity United Church, Rose Bay, Bayport Cemetery, or the Lunenburg Swimming Pool or a charity dear to Edgar.
