He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel and Aubrey; his half-sister Vera; and his siblings-in-law, Carl and Sheila.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Smicer; his stepchildren, Chris, Scott and Jackie; and his siblings, Keith Smicer, Helen Sarty, Cross, Barbara Smicer, Joan Smicer, Beverly Connelly and Oakhill.
