He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilford Bezanson and Grace Bezanson (Langille); his wife Joan; and his siblings, Frances Byers, Charlotte Campbell and Borden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Alinard (Bryan), Tonia Walters (Gary), Lower Branch and Lori Joudrey (Daryl); his grandsons, Adam (Alexandria), Justin (Kimberley), Shawn (Shelly) and Jonathan (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Jesse, Hannah, Noah, Harrison, Rhys and Liam.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fishermen's Memorial Hospital or Huntington's' Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
